The Taste Serves Up Labor Day Weekend

Los Angeles' second annual The Taste returns this Labor Day weekend September 2-5. The successful impact and quality of last year's event, the divers span of exhibitors and personalities, and the sheer magnitude of the celebration for all things epicurean throughout Los Angeles proved the event would return with a vengeance.

So it's no suprise this four-day wine and food festival will take over the streets of L.A., including Beverly Hills, Hollywood, and Downtown, showcasing the burgeoning and diverse culinary scene. Day and night events will be held at some of the city's most recognized landmarks, and a host of culinary celebrities and represented restaurants will grace the stage to offer demonstrations, tastings, seminars, culinary exhibits and displays.

The Taste will feature more than 200 of L.A.’s most renowned eateries. Those unveiling their latest culinary creations include: Bazaar by José Andrés, Bouchon, Comme Ça, Craft, Culina, Eva Restaurant, Fig, Terroni, Fords Filling Station, Guelaguetza, Hatfield's, Huckleberry Cafe & Bakery, Innovative Dining Group (IDG), Intelligentsia Coffee & Tea, Jitlada, LA Market Restaurant, M Café, Mercato Di Vetro, Osteria La Buca, Fig & Olive, Public Kitchen + Bar, Sotto, Sweet Rose Creamery, The Foundry on Melrose, The Misfit, The Raymond, Thompson Beverly Hills and Wurstküche.

L.A. Sates will be there to cover the event highlights, and give you a glimpse into the spectacular fare on display. No stranger to L.A. Sates' mission, The Taste shares our mutual goal of raising awareness of star restaurants and culinary talents in our city. Says Johnathan Crocker, Co-Founder of The Taste, “We have an incredible and diverse culinary scene represented in Los Angeles and can’t wait to celebrate it.”

Tickets are still available in a variety of configurations and are available via Eventbrite, the official ticketing provider of The Taste. Options include à la carte, themed city packages and signature event packages. An exclusive 40% discount is still available online for most packages (Picnic in the Hills excluded).

A portion of the ticket sales will benefit Share Our Strength, Beverly Hills Education Foundation, Collins College of Hospitality Management at Cal Poly Pomona, Los Angeles Times Family Fund’s Summer Camp Campaign and Los Angeles Conservancy.

Join us and the rest of the culinary loving Los Angeles community at what may prove to be the year's most distinguished food and wine festival. We wouldn't miss it, so why would you?
