La Monarca Bakery Invites Fans to Tweet to Win Daily Prizes

Tweet “Be My Valentine @LaMonarcaBakery!” to be entered in a daily Twitter drawing to win a Valentine’s Day gift basket, or check-in and tweet from any of the bakery’s three locations to receive a complimentary pan dulce item.

Beginning Monday, February 7 and continuing until Sunday, February 13, La Monarca Bakery encourages fans to tweet “Be my Valentine @LaMonarcaBakery!” to be entered in a daily drawing to win a special Valentine’s Day gift basket, featuring an assortment of the bakery’s signature items. Gift baskets will include organic fair trade Oaxacan coffee, Mexican Hot Chocolate, freshly baked cookies, pan dulce, and more (retail value: $120). Daily winners will be announced the morning following entry (e.g. Monday’s winner will be announced Tuesday morning), with tweets accepted between 12 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. each day. Winners must be an @LaMonarcaBakery follower to be eligible and will be notified via Twitter’s direct message service. Prizes will be available for pick-up at the Santa Monica location on Tuesday, February 14, at any time during store hours. Only one tweet per Twitter user will be accepted daily, though participants may re-enter each day.

La Monarca Bakery is also offering guests who check-in via geosocial networking applications, such as Yelp, GoWalla, Foursquare, or Facebook Places and also tweet “Be my Valentine @LaMonarcaBakery!” a complimentary pan dulce item of their choosing. This special will be offered in conjunction with the daily Twitter contest, running Monday, February 7, until close on Sunday, February 13, and is valid at any La Monarca Bakery location (Santa Monica, Huntington Park, and Commerce).

CONTEST RULES:

• The daily Twitter winners will be selected by the La Monarca Bakery team using Random.org services.
• Participants must follow @LaMonarcaBakery on Twitter in order to be eligible.
• Contestants must be 21 years of age to enter.
• The daily winner will be notified via Twitter’s Direct Message service the morning following contest submission.
• Only one tweet per day is allowed for contest submission, though contestants may submit a new tweet each day of the contest.
• Prizes are non-transferrable.
• The Valentine’s Day gift basket prizes are only valid for redemption at La Monarca Bakery’s Santa Monica location.
